Bio

Jim Jindrick is a Mentor-in-Residence with the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. He has 30 years management experience encompassing strategic planning, business development, product research and engineering, and international marketing and sales.

Mr. Jindrick developed over 40 successful high-tech products, product lines, and enterprises including internal corporate ventures, spin-off companies, and independent start-ups. Mr. Jindrick was a research and development manager for Snap-on Tools, director of the Microelectronics Research Group at McGraw-Edison Company (now Cooper Power Systems), and new business development manager at Burr-Brown Corporation (now Texas Instruments). He was a founder and senior manager of Intelligent Instrumentation (acquired by Texas Instruments) with offices in 8 countries. He was also a senior manger for Galtronics USA, Pear Wireless, Wireless Sensor Technologies (acquired by Boeing), BestAcrossAmerica.com, and PiezoEnergy Technologies. He is currently president of Wencil Research, LLC, a technology business venture consulting and investment company.

Mr. Jindrick received seven U.S. utility patents and numerous international patents for innovations in automotive test and diagnostic equipment, electric power distribution automation systems, and personal computer instrumentation systems. Products he developed have generated over $750 million lifetime revenue.

Mr. Jindrick was named an Eller Entrepreneurial Fellow and inducted into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame at the University of Arizona. He also served as a MOOT CORP Fellow at the University of Texas and as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Oregon. Mr. Jindrick received his engineering and business education at the University of Wisconsin.
